About me:
I am a Celebrant and Solemniser accredited by the amazing Entheos Ireland. I am an inclusive Celebrant who believes that every person, no matter their age, sex, race, sexual orientation, abilities or financial status deserves the right to get married and have the ceremony of their dreams.
I studied as a teacher in college, but working in my local community was the thing that fed my soul, so for the past 20 years I have been working with young people and their familes in the area that I grew up in. Like my beliefs for ceremonies, I believe that all young people deserve the right to the same
opportunities as their peers from different areas. It is important that all young people, and their families have a safe place to feel connected and respected. People would say that I have a passion for equality in all aspects of life and love to celebrate diversity. Although I will always have a grá for working with young people, I found
myself being more and more drawn to my passion, and that is creating ceremonies for couples and families that represent them.
I was never the young girl dreaming of the big white princess wedding, as I always associated that with a church. It put me off ever getting married, as I believed that everybody should be able to get married whatever way they wanted, wherever they wanted. Then a couple of years ago when planning my own wedding I realised that this was an
option. I became fascinated by the modern world of weddings, and knew that this is what my calling was.
My journey as a Celebrant began with my first training in 2020, and since then I became a member of Entheos Ireland. This wonderful organisation has led me to be able to perform ceremonies for the most wonderful people, I truly am so lucky to be able to do this as a job, and I can't wait to hold many more for years to come!
